RNA-Seq for transcriptome profiling

Whole transcriptome sequencing is a useful tool for measuring gene expression levels without the biases of targeted approaches. Furthermore, there is more opportunity to find novel isoforms and splice variants. The UG 100 offers scientists many benefits for RNA-seq studies:

  • High-quality RNA-seq data that compares favorably to gold standard data from the SEQC Consortium
  • Broad quantitative range
  • Long, 300bp contiguous reads for enhanced isoform detection
  • Cost effective sequencing that enables ultra-deep RNA-seq for the detection of genes with low expression levels
